The China Intangible Cultural Heritage Oversea Development Centre aims to ensure the better protection of the country’s rich cultural heritage and to draw awareness of their significance. To preserve, celebrate, and share the rich culture of China’s 5000 years of diverse history, China Intangible Cultural Heritage (CICH) has chosen Vancouver as its first overseas development centre. With its multicultural population and diverse community, Vancouver presents itself as the perfect location to launch the initiative.
